Some courses may require textbooks; schools may obtain textbooks directly from the course vendor or contact IDEAL-NM office for assistance (505-383-2400) or virtualschool@idealnm.info.

Courses may be accessed by students any time: day or evening. The most commonly used model is for schools to register students and give them computer access at a scheduled time during the regular school day to complete their coursework. Schools needing other courses are encouraged to let us know so that we might schedule courses to meet those needs.

Registration:
Schools are requested to designate one staff member to register students and act as a site coordinator for IDEAL-NM courses.

Course Fees:
Districts will be invoiced $200 per.5 credit course, per semester, per student for all courses except for Advanced Placement Program** (AP) courses, which are invoiced at a rate of $250 per .5 credit course, per semester, per student. Districts will be invoiced for IDEAL-NM semester course fees on the following semester cycle: mid October, late December, mid March, late May, and mid July. Districts may drop students within 10 business days of enrolling without incurring course fees.
