NACOL Discount

IDEAL-NM in collaboration with NM Learning Network has negotiated a 50% discount on individual NACOL membership ($30/yr verses $60/yr) for NM Educators interested in eLearning in K-12. 

The North American Council for Online Learning (NACOL) is a national professional organization and has as its mission to increase educational opportunities and enhance learning by providing collegial expertise and leadership in K-12 online teaching and learning.  NACOL membership benefits include 1) A voice in NACOL networking and membership-wide initiatives; 2) Membership voting rights; 3) Subscription to NACOL Newsletter; 3) Advanced notice and access to NACOL-sponsored forums, events and conferences; 4) Exclusive NACOL member discounts for products, services, events and conferences; 5) Access to members-only NACOL Forums online.  One of the benefits for members is $60 discount on the registration for the Virtual School Symposium (VSS2008) which is being held this year in Phoenix Arizona on October 26-28.  Discounts on NACOL Webinars are also included.

To join NACOL at the discounted rate

1. Go to www.nacol.org
2. Click on “Join Now” (left side of screen) and then click “Join NACOL” at the bottom of the screen
3. Select “Educator Membership” fill out the rest of your information, then click Next>>
4. Enter “IDEAL-NM” for the Promotional Code, Select payment method (credit card preferred), then click Next>>
5. The discounted price should appear, Confirm payment method, then click Next>>
6. Complete the process (Note: The process will not be complete for P.O. & checks until NACOL receives snail mail)
