Northern New Mexico College is a two-year and four-year degree granting institution of higher learning. Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, NNMC offers degress in business administration, teacher education, nursing, radiography, biology, and engineering.

Nearly 65 certificate and degree programs are offered on the Espanola campus including but not limited to: Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Design Foundation, Computer Aided Drafting, Early Childhood Education, Fine Arts, Human Services, Library Technology, Micro Electronics, Management Information Systems, Nursing, Radiography, Science, Substance Abuse Counselor, Welding Technology.

Northern`s Espanola campus is located 25 miles north of the state capitol, SantaFe, and 25 miles south of the El Rito Campus. It is situated on a 30 plus acre site, which extends off of U.S. Highway 84/285 to the banks of the Rio Grande river.

Espanola is the center of commerce for a population (within 10 mile radius) of over 25,000. The community is surrounded by the San Juan, Santa Clara, Pojoaque, and San Ildefonso Pueblos and sits at the base of the Sangre de Cristo and Jemez Mountains.
