San Juan College is one of the fastest growing community colleges in the New Mexico and serves the community through academic, occupational and community service programs. The College is located on a 600-acre site in Farmington, and serves student in San Juan County as well as New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and Utah. The College also has campuses in Aztec (San Juan College East) and in Kirtland (San Juan College West).

The College is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools as a degree-granting institution.

The two-year college offers university transfer courses, career and vocational programs, as well as non-credit courses. Special credit programs include pilot training, industrial water treatment, industrial process operations, Microsoft certification, nursing, semiconductor manufacturing, renewable energy, technical theatre, Internet technology, outdoor leadership and more. The College offers a dual credit program for high school students, where they can earn both high school and college credit simultaneously.

Noncredit classes in a variety of personal-growth, hobby and leisure areas also are available.
