Description:
The doctoral program, Curriculum and Instruction, is designed to help students to develop a sound theoretical background in the integration of technology with curriculum and instruction and to apply these theoretical perspectives to the design, implementation and evaluation of learning environments. Students are encouraged to use technology tied to innovative pedagogical and leadership approaches to solve educational problems in a variety of educational settings. Students are also expected to develop professional leadership in the field through publication, research, service, grant writing, and participation in professional organizations

Master`s degree including EDUC 538 (Curriculum Development); EDUC 515 (Multicultural Education); EDUC 568 (Technology and Pedagogy); EDUC 519 (Research in Curriculum & Pedagogy) or their equivalencies.
