Description:
This program is designed to give students a broad range of course options in business rather than a narrow focus on a single discipline. Graduates may find careers in large and small businesses, in government agencies, and in the not-for-profit sector. The major is designed for students interested in starting or acquiring a small business or entering a family business upon graduation.

Requirements:
A minimum of 128 credits is required for graduation. This is a degree completion program, offering the courses that a student would normally be expected to complete during the junior and senior years. The course work for the freshmen and sophomore years may be completed at a junior or community college. The junior and senior level courses include upper division business core courses (BCIS 338, BLAW 316, FIN 341, MGT 309 and 344, MKTG 303, BUSA 421, an economics elective, an upper division business elective), and eight other upper division business courses, with a limit of three per business discipline (such as finance, economics, marketing, and management). In addition two upper division Viewing a Wider World courses are required.
